LIGHTS OUT AMERICA-SATURDAY, MARCH 29th, 8-9 pm EDT, a global event urging residents to turn off outdoor non-essential lights (shade lights on sensors) and dim commercial displays to save money, energy, and our dark skies. FIU SPRING STAR PARTY & GUITAR CONCERT-FRIDAY, APRIL 11th, 8 pm, come to the Spring Star Party hosted by FIU astronomers, at their telescope deck near the FIU Physics Bldg., University Park. Guitar concert by world-renowned Muriel Anderson and FIU faculty in CP-145 of the FIU Astronomy Center.
